Diego López is a talented graduate of the Ambrosia Culinary Center. A promising chef who has a great work experience, since he has worked alongside famous chefs and in large kitchens. He was the chef of the popular seafood restaurant Mocambo in Cancun and winner of the 2017 Gourmet Taco Competition at the Wine and Food Festival. He also worked in the kitchens of the Hotel ME by Meliá being Sous Chef of the restaurant and since 2011.
Diego is known for being an engine that drives new proposals for local cuisine, and Mexican cuisine, such as the lionfish gastronomic consumption in the region, an initiative that has been taking place since 2011 for the benefit of the reef sustainability.
